I’m a big fan of affordable apparel as long as it looks nice. As someone who works in the industry of men’s fashion, I am aware that a majority of what you pay for in a shirt is not the material but instead the branding and the logo. Truth be told most people aren’t even aware of what brands do and don’t cost nor should they care.
I typically scour the internet for random brands and try out clothing for fun. I like clothing that conforms to my body without being overly tight. In my journeys on amazon.com I came across a brand named Doublju. They have both men’s and women’s clothing but I will only be commenting on the men’s clothing for the purpose of this post.
The price point on the collection was too hard to pass up. If you are an Amazon Prime member most of their collection is on there as well, meaning free two day shipping. Before starting I will say that the clothing does fit a bit small, maybe half a size small so if you like your clothes fitted I would recommend going for your regular size.
I have ordered about eight shirts and hoodies and about two jackets from them, and so far have nothing to complain about. Button downs, henleys and turtle necks sell for about $14 to $18 USD on prime while some of their higher price point items like jackets and sweaters go for $30 to $70 USD.
The clothing ranges from your pretty standard looking t-shirts to stuff that is thrown in straight out of an anime… which I can’t help but love. I appreciate things that are unique and some of the items in this collection, ones I have personally purchased, are definitely in that category. They definitely get attention without being overbearing or ridiculous.
The quality of the clothing is good and average. Don’t expect to be blown away by t-shirts that feel like they are made of some kind of smooth synthetic new technology meant to massage your skin while you wear it (does that even exist?). What you get is good ole regular cotton, wool or whatever other material you are seeing.
If you have Amazon Prime trying out something that peaks your interest is a no brainer. They offer an easy return policy and are willing to exchange sizes as needed. If you are paying for shipping just remember to order a size up for safety unless the comments and feedback on that specific item state otherwise. I can personally say I own everything I posted here and ordered a medium in all sizes and they all fit like a small which turned out to be OK anyway.
